What I Wish I Knew Before Starting Out On Dropshipping
Dropshipping. I knew that word. I’d heard it multiple times. I think I started hearing more of it in 2015. Truth be told though, I didn’t much know about what it all entailed. I only knew it had something to do with ecommerce, and I also knew it had something to do with people making loads of money.
The media was strife with multiple success stories of dropshippers. Anytime I would read an article of how a 23 year old made an insane amount of money in 3 months or less, or maybe even under a year, I knew it had something to do with dropshipping. And about 99% of the time I was right. Even teenagers were unto this.
Writing about it now, I think I had a friend or two make mention of dropshipping and one explicitly mentioned I explore that option around the time I started my ecommerce journey. But I never did. Looking back, maybe I should have. Had I known, they say, is always at last. On the flip side though, I did venture into ecommerce but it just wasn’t dropshipping until a certain pandemic decided to strike hard.
