Getting a good job feels almost impossible right now.

You scroll through LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor, applying to every “We’re Hiring” post you can find. You tweak your resume, write yet another cover letter, and send off dozens, if not hundreds, of applications. Then, silence. No callbacks. No interviews. Just rejection emails, if you’re lucky enough to get a response at all.

It wasn’t always like this.

A few decades ago, getting hired was simple. You walked into a business, filled out an application, and if you had the right experience, you got the job. Hiring managers actually read resumes. The process was straightforward, human, and fair.

But today? The hiring system isn’t just broken, it’s rigged.
