He LOST $7500 Starting a YouTube Channel! DON’T Make His Mistake!!
I came across the sad but cautionary tale of Raymond who lost $7,500 in the summer starting a YouTube channel.
Starting a YouTube channel can be a great way to make money online (passively) and while there are so many documented success stories, there are some others we don’t really hear or read about that reveal the other side of this coin: the costly reality of starting a YouTube channel.
Like him, I’d be embarrassed sharing this story if this happened to be me. But since he told it, I guess it had to be shared.
In his own words,
Ambition left unchecked can be very costly.
Raymond started a YouTube channel using a business model called YouTube automation.
This model involves outsourcing the video creation process to freelancers on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork, with the channel owner acting as a project manager.
Raymond invested $7500 in a YouTube automation coaching/consulting program, which promised a monetized channel within 30 days.
However, five months later, he had not made any return on his investment and had spent an additional sum on Fiverr to have videos made that he ultimately did not use.
